About

Hello.

I was born and raised in Sari, Iran. It's been a few years now that I've been living in Milan. I started my Computer Engineering bachelor's at Shahrood University in 2017, and spent two of those four years mostly at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine. A couple of years later, in an unexpected turn of events, instead of going to Alberta, I ended up at Politecnico di Milano for my master's degree in Computer Science. I arrived in Milan on September 3, 2022, which marked the beginning of many firsts in my life. The first time I boarded an airplane. The first time I left Iran, and many other firsts. And now, on March 26, 2026—just 10 days from now—I am set to graduate. Thank God. Regarding what I have done and what I do, you can check out my LinkedIn, but briefly, I have been almost constantly working since my 4th semester of my bachelor's until today.

Some of my friends consider me a geek. Some say I'm a nerd. I admit I have qualities of both, but I personally don't feel I belong strictly to either category because I've seen both true geeks and true nerds, and I'm not really like either of them. Maybe a mix of both. Anyway, this is me. The most prominent trait in me is being somewhat mediocre, which recently I've been thinking might not be such a bad thing after all.

This blog—like my Agora channel—is the intersection of these two traits in me. You will find technical posts here. You'll find non-technical experiences. You'll find personal rants and narratives. You'll find everything because my interests have almost no clear boundaries. The only clear thing is that after a while, I suddenly get tired of everything and abandon it. This very blog was abandoned a month after it was created, and a few days ago, I enthusiastically started spending time on it again. This is also one of the struggles of someone who has grown up dealing with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Time is short for now, so I'll settle for this much "about me" until I have the chance to come back and complete it.

I'd be happy if you read a post and shared any thoughts, feedback, or feelings you had with me. The same goes if you have any questions or remarks about the blog itself and its inner workings. I always appreciate receiving emails and replying to them :)

Thank you for reading this far.
